Joshua Crutchfield
SENIOR PASTOR

Joshua was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and came to faith at the age of six. Shortly after, he felt a calling to pastoral ministry. Early in his life, God was preparing him for a future in the church. Joshua began pastoring at the age of 21 and has served as senior pastor for three established churches. In 2021, he became the senior pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, a young church plant located in a rapidly growing suburb of north Houston.
He holds a bachelor's degree and a Master of Divinity from Criswell College and is an alumnus of Dallas Theological Seminary. Additionally, he earned a Master of Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a PhD in Leadership at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Joshua has numerous articles published in theological dictionaries, wordbooks, and journals. He has also served on various committees for the Southern Baptist Convention and was the vice president of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention.
In 2007, Joshua married his high school sweetheart, Jamie. They have four children, each with a name that begins with the letter "J." The family enjoys reading, playing games, traveling to new places, enjoying delicious food (especially ice cream), and cheering for LSU.
